The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for revenue growth and customer management within a defined sales territory. This position will cover Texas and Oklahoma territories. Responsibilities include growing defined territories to achieve established targets and strategic sales objectives. Performance measures include meeting established territory revenue goals as well as meeting strategic or product volume goals. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for completion and performance of the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for management of a defined sales territory including prospecting, closing, and maintaining customers through the sale of Isel's product and service offerings. 
  • Meet established revenue goals as well as strategic or product volume goals. 
  • Ensures new customer and active customer growth goals are achieved.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, product offering, services and special requests with customers; coordinates extraordinary responses with the Director of Sales.
  • Serve as a product or technical specialist for defined markets. Conduct training programs for key customers.
  • Responsible for communicating customer financial, operational, or ownership/managerial issues to both the Director of Sales and the Accounting Department to ensure appropriate preparation is made. 
  • Represent Isel at industry trade shows.
  • Maintain Isel's CRM for defined sales territory, inputting all required activity reporting daily.

Additional responsibilities associated with our overall expansion efforts:

  • Communicate market and industry trends, competitive movements, and customer strategies.
  • Advise on the development of selling techniques, training programs, marketing materials, and trade show opportunities. 
  • Identifies new products, services and programs to further enhance revenue levels through Isel's strategic offering to customers.
  • Responsible for communicating customer financial, operational, or ownership/managerial issues to both the Director of Sales and the Accounting.

Accountabilities & Performance Measures:

  • The Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for the following:

  • Must meet strategic goals and product volume requirements
  • Operate within established sales budgets

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Science-related field from an accredited university or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 5 years of well-rounded business-to-business sales experience
  • Proven track record of successful implementation of sales techniques
  • CLS certification or other technical or sales certifications a strong plus
  • Knowledge and/or sales experience in industrial parts and equipment, air compressor, refrigeration compressor, and/or heat transfer industries is a strong plus
  • Must have a valid drivers license

Physical & Travel Requirements

  • This position requires frequent, regular travel outside of the local area, which includes overnight stays
  • Frequent use of keyboard, typing and use of personal computer and/or handheld devices
  • Communication skills: verbal, writing, public speaking and presentation
